Kenneth M. Cornea, B.A., J.D., Counsel
Kenneth M. Cornea
Mr. Cornea was born at Assiniboia, Saskatchewan and graduated from Briercrest High School in 1970. Mr. Cornea attended the University of Regina where he graduated with a Bachelor of Administration with Great Distinction in 1978. He then attended the University of Saskatchewan and completed his Bachelor of Laws in 1981. Mr. Cornea was articled to R.J. Rushford, Q.C., and was called to the Bar in 1982. He also became a partner in Grayson & Company in 1982.
Mr. Cornea is a member of the Law Society of Saskatchewan and of the Canadian Bar Association. He was a founding member and past Director of the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyer’s Association. He was a past member of the Kinsmen Club of Moose Jaw and had served as Chairman on the Board of Directors at the combined Providence Hospital / St. Anthony’s Home Board.
Idowu F. Adetogun LL.B., BL., LL.M, Mediator, Partner
Idowu Adetogun moved from Sacramento, California to Saskatchewan in 2012. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LL. B) from Obafemi Awolowo, in 1993 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1995. Idowu worked as in-house counsel and corporate trainer, for the Government of Botswana, from 1997 through 2006. In 2004 she obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M – Mercantile Law) from University of the Free State, Bloemfontein, South Africa and in 2007 she obtained a second Master of Laws (LL.M – Transnational Business Practice) from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, Sacramento, California, U.S.A. Idowu completed her Canadian law accreditation and was called to the Saskatchewan Bar in September 2014.
Idowu maintains a general practice and her areas of practice include family law, real estate, wills and estates, litigation, and corporate and commercial law, and immigration law. She is also a mediator.
Idowu appears regularly before the Court of Queen’s Bench of Saskatchewan and the Court of Appeal of Saskatchewan, and occasionally appears before the Provincial Court of Saskatchewan. Idowu has represented clients on leave applications before the Supreme Court of Canada.
Idowu is the recipient for the 2021 Victor P. Dietz Pro Bono Service Award.
Ryan Hrechka, B.Sc., J.D., Partner
Ryan was born and raised in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan, attended Ross School and graduated from Central Collegiate in 1996. Ryan obtained a bachelor’s degree in Anatomy and Cell Biology from the University of Saskatchewan in 2000 and went on to obtain his Law degree in 2003. Ryan has practiced law continually since then, joining Grayson & Company in 2009 and becoming a partner in 2010.
Ryan is a member of the Law Society of Saskatchewan as well as the Canadian Bar Association. He is also a board member of the Providence Place Foundation and the Moose Jaw Health Foundation. He is eager to continue and expand his involvement with various local Moose Jaw and area organizations.
Darcy J. Dumont, B.A., J.D.
Darcy was raised on a farm near Lafleche, Saskatchewan. After graduating from Lafleche Central School in 2011, he attended Campion College at the University of Regina where he majored in Justice Studies and received his Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in 2015. Darcy then attended the College of Law at the University of Saskatchewan and received his Juris Doctor with Distinction in 2018.
Darcy served on the Campion College Students’ Union at the University of Regina and the Law Students’ Association, University of Saskatchewan Students’ Union, and College of Law’s Small Urban and Rural Committee while attending the University of Saskatchewan. He joined Grayson & Company as an articling student in June of 2018 and is excited to learn about the various areas of law the firm practices.
